... commonly know by it's brand, 4S, is a family owned and operated outdoor guide service dedicated to giving every guest a memorable hunting experience second to none. The Sharp family has been hunting and organizing hunts for over thirty five years. We are headquartered about 80 miles southeast of Amarillo, Texas and about 175 miles northwest of the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

We have thousands of acres of prime hunting land located in North Texas and South Africa. Texas trophy hunters will enjoy the diversity of Hall, Collingsworth and Childress counties, while South African safaris will be conducted in the pristine Limpopo Province.

North Texas Possibilities!

4S offers guided and semi guided hunts that are geared to the sportsman that likes to hunt a mature whitetail in his natural range. You will be hunting country in which the deer have not been pressured by over hunting. All hunting will be free range, fair chase from tripods and enclosed blinds over feeders and food plots. We have a variety of native wildlife. We feed year round and monitor game habitat with digital trail cameras.

The panhandle region of Texas is one of the most productive hunting areas in the state producing world class whitetail and mule deer. It also produces an abundance of turkey, quail, dove and wild hogs. The high protein crops produce enormous body weights; while the red clay soil and natural mineral deposits grow massive antlers. These conditions create the possibility for a world class trophy hunt.

If you hunt as a family, then this is the place you will want to come. We pay special attention to the youth hunter. We will go the extra mile to see that a young person has the true hunting experience of a lifetime. We are aware that the future of hunting lies with the youth of today and consider it a privilege to introduce young people to the great outdoors.

Our guides scout the year around to offer the best possibility for a successful hunting experience that is tailored to your hunting style and preferences. While specializing in bow hunting, hunters may harvest game
with any legal weapon and by any legal means. Other hunts we offer are dove, quail, hog, predator and spring turkey.

Our South African Safaris

We offer exciting and affordable South African safaris through our close relationship with Jan Kleynhans of Tusker Safaris.

Tusker Safaris is located on the game farm, Elfrida, in the heart of the bushveld at the far north western parts of South Africa. This spectacular game farm is approximately 80 km from the nearest town, Lephalale, which is known as the heartbeat of the Waterberg Bushveld. Situated at the spur of the Waterberg Mountains, Lephalale lies approximately 60 km from the Botswana border on the Mogol River.

The magnificent Waterberg Mountain Range is a haven for eco-tourism and adventure tourism seekers, but is also home to a rich cultural legacy and abundance of wildlife, including the famous “Big Five”. This region is a prime hunting and eco-tourism destination, described by visitors as having a “sense of vastness”.

Elfrida is the result of an effective and strong combined effort between the owner Mark Gittins, who is residing in Vancouver, Canada, and the managers of the farm and owners of Tusker Safaris, Jan and Hettie Kleynhans. Their holistic approach to bow hunting is parallel to their hospitality and professionalism.

This friendly and very hospitable husband and wife team, Jan and Hettie, thrives on realising their clients’ primary bow hunting needs by means of personalised attention. Tusker Safaris is perfectly equipped for bow hunters and photo safaris with four tree stands in huge Marula trees, as well as pit blinds situated close to water holes for the perfect shot. Clients will have ample opportunity to view a wide variety of animals and bird life from these blinds. Their hides are superbly built and forms part of the environment, in such a manner that it gives the impression of natural elements of the surroundings.

Their skills in skinning and tracking as well as experience in the veld unquestionably set them apart.

Tusker Safaris is eco-friendly and use a solar system in order to contribute to the environment and to provide them with a continuous source of electricity.
